Emeka Onuoha was admitted as a Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Nigeria in November, 2005. He began his legal pupilage as an Associate Counsel in the law firm of Arebamen & Arebamen until 2007, when he left and joined the law firm of Consolex Legal Practitioners from where resigned to set up pacta sunt servanda in 2013 as a Port Harcourt based law office.
He caught his legal teeth in litigation as both a civil and criminal law Counsel and has done so and is still doing so up to the appellate courts and outside jurisdictions too. He serves as company secretary of several companies and has advised several establishments and organizations in several areas of corporate law and regulatory compliance. He is a CAC-accredited agent and has been involved in registering of companies and non-profit organizations since his call to the bar till date.
He also is a real estate consultant and has anchored many high profit property transactions and documentations. He has handled several community chieftaincy, youth and land matters – including suits against the oil companies. On pro bono legal services, he has anchored his Church’s outreaches at various prisons in Rivers State wherein indigent inmates were offered free legal services leading to several discharges and acquittals. He is also a life member of the Full Gospel Business Man’s Fellowship International (FGBMFI), where he currently serves as a Chapter President.
Emeka Onuoha has served in several committees of NBA, Port Harcourt Branch including the Justice Sector Monitoring Committee and Publicity Committee. He is a member and Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators of Nigeria (ICSAN) where he has had the privilege of serving as the Rivers State Chapter Chairman. He currently serves in two national committees of the Institute to wit; the Implementation and Monitoring Committee and the ICSAN / UNIUYO Linkage Agreement Implementation Committee.
He is a Notary Public of the Supreme Court of Nigeria, and holds a Doctorate Degree in Constitutional Law and Jurisprudence from the Rivers State University, Port Harcourt. He is the sole proprietor and currently the Principal Solicitor of pacta sunt servanda. Emeka Onuoha is happily married with children.
